☆ Eric Bittle’s October 2015 Tweets! (PDF)

The above is a link to a PDF of tweets from @omgcheckplease (which is currently on private to avoid spoilers)!

Oh MAN! New info! Yeah! These tweets reference events in the comic that have already been drawn. Since October 2015 has passed in Bitty’s life these tweets aren’t too spoilery! I’m really glad I can share new info with you!

Hmm. How well do these tweets line up with the comic? Pretty closely? There are moments/events in the tweets (which I did in real-time during my own life) that probably won’t match up chronologically, or that I wish I could go back in revise. Because of the nature of the platform, editing is pretty difficult.

Is the comic caught up to the Twitter yet? Not yet, unfortunately. A lot still has to happen in the comic. Bitty’s tweets were in real time and I cannot draw as fast as he tweets! For more info on Bitty’s Twitter check out the FAQ.

Will you be sharing more tweets! Absolutely!!!

Bitty set the slice of pie down on the kitchen table and patted Dex’s shoulder. “Thank you so much, Dex! Everyone’s been avoiding laundry for weeks and–how do I put this–it’s starting to affect the general ambiance.”

“Why do you fix stuff if you hate it so much?” asked Nursey. He was loitering around the freshly cut pumpkin pie sitting on the counter.

Dex dug into his slice and frowned. “Because when something’s broken you fix it. Also? I don’t hate it.”

“Well…You did have a pretty big scowl on your face when you came up the stairs,” offered Bitty gently.

“Tuh,” said Nursey.

Dex shrugged. “I was actually very happy I got the dryer to work. I guess I was confused as to how I got it to work. It’s so beat up. Like, did you guys use to throw kegsters in the basement?

“It’s okay if it’s for Dibs, Poindexter,” said Nursey. Somehow he had procured a pie slice.

“It’s not,”said Dex.

But he was already out in the foyer. “I mean, seriously, we all do stuff for Dibs. Thanks, Bitty!”

“–Oh m'gawf, Holffy–” Ransom swallowed his bite of pecan pie. “Parse totally elbowed Jack?”

Holster’s eyes shot up from his laptop and to the Haus TV, but the puck was already back in play.

“Aw man!” groaned Holster. “Come on, they gotta show that again. Or someone make a gif or something.”

Ransom went back to his pie. “Jack and Parse. Lol.”

Las Vegas - Almost midway through the season, Las Vegas Aces captain Kent Parson is familiar with certain questions before games against the Providence Falconers.

“Zimmermann is a big part of the team, has really made an impact,” he said. “But we don’t go against individual players. We go against teams.”

Parson and Jack Zimmermann have a well known history established long before their NHL careers, playing together during the 2007-2009 QMJHL hockey seasons and winning the Memorial Cup in 2009. Zimmermann’s fiery rookie season has helped bring that history to the forefront.

“We get a lot of questions about stopping certain players,” Parson said. “We have strategies for offenses not players and we stick to that.”

Marty pressed in the floor numbers as the elevator doors slid shut.

Leaning back against the side of the elevator, Thirdy grinned down at a message on his phone. “Yup. You get used to the eighty-two games, sure? But roadies never grow on you.”

“Hard being away from the kids, eh?” said Jack.

“It’s tough.” Thirdy slapped him on the back as the bell dinged. “But you’re young–that helps. Lucky you’re not tied down.”

“'Chyeah. Hah. There’s your crew, Whisk,” said Chad R. He nodded to the Founder’s side of Lake Quad where the hockey team was approaching like a cartoon dust cloud.

“The fucking hockey team,” said Chad S. “No offense, but every single time I look over from the lax house, like, those guys are listening to shit music and eating a bajillion cakes and prancing around like–I used to hang with hockey guys back in high school! But here, brah? Fuckin’ Samwell…”

“Pies,” said Whiskey. Chad and also Chad looked at him. “It’s weird.”

Chad R. shook his head. “'Chyeah.”

“Come on, he weighs like 100 pounds,” Jack hissed. “Why is it taking all three of you to hold him down?”

“I have no fucking clue,” said Holster, trying to be quiet. “He’s summoned some kind of super-human strength. It’s like wrestling a really tiny bear.”

“FUCK, Bitty, that’s my FACE.”

Bittle simply ignored Shitty’s pain and kept kicking with his free leg.

“Fuck, bro, just say sorry!” said Ransom. “What’d you even say to piss him off?”

Jack was backed up against a wall. “He was going on and on about some new album, and how it’s a huge surprise and…” Jack looked at them. “All I did was ask ‘why is Beyoncé so important?’”

“GODDAMMIT, JACK.” shouted Holster.

And now the entire library was looking at them.

“Oh my goodness, I think they’re looking wonderful this season,” said Bitty. The lady seated across from him on the Amtrak probably didn’t care all that much about the Falconers. But it was her mistake for making small talk with a Southerner. “A friend of mine, actually…”

(South Station to Providence is a little over an hour ride.)
